We are an established family bindery located on the northern outskirts of Colchester, Essex.

Rob started bookbinding when he was 15. Working on and off until 2009 when he gained an MA in book conservation from Camberwell College and joined the business full time.

Mike gained an HND in Design (bookbinding) from the London College of Printing and Distributive Trades. He has worked extensively in the trade and for many years has taught bookbinding.

Isobel is a bench trained binder who has now retired from day to day operations. She can still be called upon at peak times and she continues to run our business finance and administration.

We are all active members of the Society of Bookbinders (East Anglia Region) and between us have held several officer posts.
